Hearts break indefinitely, a million times a day. This world is hopeless. Things aren't perfect and in this life they wont be. Is this an excuse? A reason to shut down? To shut out the world? To fall face down in the dirt and muddy the water with your tears? No. This is a reason to stand. To pull back your shoulders, square up and face your heart ache. Living life as a christian doesn't mean living face in the mud on the ground begging for repentance and blaming your imperfectness. It means bucking up, finding joy in this world and persevering. Depression is an excuse. Everyone feels horrible heart ache, the difference is that some people choose to face it. We should live empathetic lives under the grace of the lord. Failure is not an option. Selflessness is the cure to all heartache. So push back your pain, find a smile, and bring light to this world with your joy. You never know when you'll make a difference.
