As we set off on the adventure of exploring the New Orleans French Quarter Festival, I had only one goal in mind: Hearing GOOD music. The K College band brought just that as they rocked the united airlines international stage in Dutch Alley. As music students took the stage from Kent College in the UK, It was obvious that they knew their stuff. The students were studying New Orleans music and had ended a week of NOLA culture by performing at the French Quarter fest. There was a certain soul and passion in their performance that instantly captured my heart. I found them outstanding and hope they received the spectacular grade they surely deserved.
